The Candlelight Vigil is typically held the evening before the march and rally. It provides an opportunity to pray for abortion-minded women, post-abortive mothers and fathers, those experiencing a crisis pregnancy, abortion workers, and politicians. We pray for the end to abortion and that the lives of all human beings will be respected and protected from conception to natural death.
This year’s Candlelight Vigil will feature prayers, testimonials and live music.
EWTN Global Catholic Network will have live coverage of the Candlelight Vigil for Victims of Abortion on Wednesday, May 10 at 9PM Eastern. For our friends in the USA, the program will air later that night.
Following the Candlelight Vigil, there will be a Eucharistic Holy Hour at St. Theresa Church (95 Somerset St W.) from 10-11pm.
